t-time is a teapot made of sterling silver. It was born from our encounter with the silversmith Nicolas Marischael. The design creates a three-dimensional pun by playing with words and the letter “t”. This letter is used in italic script to offer a fully functional object of a strongly affirmed shape. Nicolas Marischael achieved to stretch the technical limits of the silversmith’s trade and its know-how. For example, t-time does not display any handle but is grasped directly by its body, thanks to an isothermal function.
